In the mid 70s Mike Pears, unhappy with the rollers that were available in the uk at that time, decided to make one for himself. To his surprise, he was inundated by printmaking friends asking him to make more.

And so, Rollaco was born...

At the heart of the company the PRO-series rollers, which have withstood the test of time for over 35 years are still loved and cherished by printmakers the world over. They are still made by hand in his Middlesbrough workshop.
