Roller brass bearings being made in a lathe. All PRO-series rollers are fitted with these bearings to ensure smooth effortless rolling action.
A roller is cut to size using a razor sharp knife. White water is used to lubricate the cut to give a perfectly smooth roller end. Cleaning ink off the roller end is now quick and easy!!
Handles are epoxy resin bonded to the brass frame to make sure they never screw off in use. The 12mm (0.5 inch) set screw is a lot stronger than the wood screws used on other makes of frame.
Picture shows a detail of the spindleLOC system designed to prevent the steel spindle rotating with the roller under normal use. Removal and insertion of roller sections is quick and easy using an allen key.
